Corning offers stirrers that stir up to nine vessels at the same time. These stirring platforms come in 4, 5, and 9 position models. The four position model is available with integral or remote control. The four position remote control unit is controlled by a 12VDC remote controller so that it can be controlled from outside a fume hood or incubator. The unit's magnets and DC motor provide smooth, well coupled stirring up to 2,000 RPM. The speed of all positions on the units is set simultaneously with either the integral knob or remote controller. Motor type is DC. Dimensions on all units: 70mm H x 260mm W x 260mm D. Weight: 4 Position = 6.8lbs, 5 Position = 7.1lbs, and 9 Position = 8.4lbs.
