ELISA for Rapid Lincomycin Detection
The MaxSignal® Lincomycin ELISA Test Kit is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Lincomycin in a variety of sample types. Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic similar in structure, antibacterial spectrum, and mechanism of action to macrolides. Lincomycin is also effective against other organisms including actinomycetes, mycoplasma, and some species of Plasmodium. However, because of its adverse effects and toxicity, it is rarely used, and is reserved for penicillin-allergic patients or treatment of beta-lactam resistant bacteria.
This kit is manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001.
