经无火花型防爆认证的电机在正常运行情况下不会产生火花,也不产生超过电气设备相应温度组别温度的热表面或灼热点。
电机运行需遵从ATEX指令中与3类对应的EHSRs:
设备在设计阶段必须防止正常运行中可能出现的灼热点。
即使受到频繁电磁干扰,设备表面温度必须低于电气设备相应温度组别温度。
爆炸性气体即使进入电机内部也不会发生爆炸是因为:
电机内部温度不会超过设备相应温度组别温度。
电机零部件材料的选择确保不会产生火花,因而不会点燃爆炸性气体。
